OUR HISTORY
WATER MILL BUILDING SUPPLY BEGAN IN 1986 when Dennis D’Angelo opened a modest hardware store and tool rental center on Montauk Highway. He soon added lumber to the mix, and the business quickly evolved into a trusted building-materials supplier for the Hamptons and Eastern Long Island.
AFTER DENNIS RETIRED, HIS SONS STEVE AND PAUL CONTINUED to grow the company before it was acquired by Trade Supply Group in 2008, helping the family usher in a new era for their customers. Over the years, the store expanded its showroom, introduced Simon’s Hardware and Bath, renovated key departments, and added an outside sales team. With continual investment in technology, service, and facilities, Water Mill Building Supply has grown from a small local shop into a cornerstone resource for builders, architects, designers, and homeowners across the East End.
WE CONTINUE TO "SUPER SERVE" OUR CUSTOMERS with helpful advice and premium building materials such as lumber, engineered beams, millwork, windows, doors, mouldings, paint, hardware, and tools, as well as specialty hardware and fixtures from Simon’s Hardware and Bath.
